Held on the last Saturday in July, the Dufftown annual Highland Games offers the chance to watch traditional sports, parades and impressive ceremonies. Bagpipes can be heard all day, while you watch a full programme of tradition events: highland dancing, throwing heavy hammers and iron balls, and tug-o-war to name a few.

Around Dufftown are a number of famous Distillery's. Why not book a tour or meander through some beautiful visitor centre's. While the remains of 15th Century Auchindoun Castle embody a beautifully enchanting medieval Castle are located just to the South East of the town.
